We were trying to give Dylan some Tylenol with the little eye dropper thing, and it wasn’t working out so well. His recent experience with solid food has taught him that he can spit the contents back out pretty easily, thus foiling any attempts at actually feeding him.
This was the reaction we got, and the result was cherry flavored syrup spewing forth from our child’s face like a volcano. I was holding him in the air on his back while Brandy injected the medicine, so my hands weren’t free to wipe the mess away, but then Brandy took one for team and proceeded to lick up the Tylenol that was dripping down the side of his face. This action was facilitatedby my tilting his head towards hers for easier access.
Now that is love.
